Transgenic and Knockout Strains of Mice
B&K Universal Ltd hold a library of transgenic/knockout mouse strains which are bred and maintained in
isolators to MPF++ status.
We reserve the right to alter the library from time to time to meet current scientific trends and needs.
Mice supplied can be individually identified using microchips, or ear mark/tag. We are also happy to use
scientific colleagues’ own microchips. The animals are despatched with a full health status report and
background information sheet.
A project licence number may be required at point of order for all transgenic and knockout strains.
Transgenic/knockout and inbred animals often have special husbandry requirements. Before
obtaining these animals, advice regarding any special needs should be sought from B&K Universal Ltd.
